About the Book
Ellie is a seven-year-old girl. She is quiet and shy but adventurous and brave. She loves exploring the mountain behind her house for all sorts of things that are treasures to her, including even some scary things like toads and snakes!
Nothing scares Ellie. No. Nothing at all.
Every night at bedtime, Ellie’s mother tucks her in, with the blankets very super snuggly. She leaves the room, turning off the light and shutting the door tightly. It’s sooo dark, and Ellie is VERY scared of the monsters under her bed that will grab her arms and legs if they are sticking out of the blankets.
What can she do? Can she be brave, even when she feels scared? What would YOU do?

About the Author
Vivian Elizabeth van Osch was raised in Agassiz-Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada, during the 60s and 70s eras when rules were strict but freedom was rarely monitored. With mountains all around, there were always adventures and places to explore.
Now retired, she lives in the beautiful Fraser Valley of British Columbia, still with mountains all around. Creating wonderful adventures, stories and memories with her precious grandchildren. I bet they are brave too!
